A13. INCERTAE SEDIS


This group is intended to present Ophrys taxa affinities of which are still imperfectly understood. They can belong to other species, already on the site, or represent still unnamed subspecies or species.
They will remain here until more acurate searches have been conducted about them, without receiving any name but, as far as possible they will be introduced in the group they belong to with the number of the group and a capital letter.
Le but de ce groupe est de présenter des taxa aux affinités douteuses. Ils peuvent appartenir à d'autres espèces déjà présentes sur le site ou représenter des sous-espèces ou des espèces non encore décrites.
Ils resteront ici jusqu'à ce que des études ultérieures aient mieux précisé leur statu. Aucun nom ne leur sera attribué, mais dans la mesure du possible ils seront rangés dans les groupes auxquels ils appartiennent avec, comme seule indication, le numéro du groupe et une lettre capitale.

A13-1. O. eptapigiensis H.F.Paulus 2001

A few plants were flowering in the pine forests between Apollona and Laerma on April 6, 1997. With their long and narrow looking labellum, they probably represent O. eptapigiensis.
Quelques plantes fleurissaient le 6 avril 1997 dans les pinèdes bordant la route Apollona - Laerma. Leur habitat et leurs labelles sombres, longs et étroits suggèrent O. eptapigiensis.

A13-2. O. bornmuelleri B5 group species from Samos

Attention was attracted to these plants by Stefan and Kerstin Hertel in the paper about orchids from the Eastern Aegean islands refered to in the bibliography.
These highly variable plants were numerous when they visited the island, with fucifloroid and scolopaxoid flowers and more or less long horns, but they were all flowering together at the same time, with flowers of the same size and every possible in-between forms.
When we visited Samos in April 2006, we only found three plants on two different locations. These are those shown just beneath, with the pink flowers plant less scolopaxoid than the two white flowers ones. No strictly fucifloroid plant was noted.
The mean length of the lip was 13 mm and they were in full flowers when snapped.
Also did I add here one slide of an Ophrys from Lesbos which perhaps belongs to the same entity.
C'est Stefan et Kerstin Hertel qui ont attiré l'attention sur ces plantes dans l'article repris en bibliographie et consacré aux orchidées des îles égéennes orientales.
Ces plantes fort variables, aux labelles soit scolopaxoïdes, soit fucifloroïdes, étaient fort nombreuses à l'époque de leur visite, fleurissaient toutes ensemble, avaient des labelles de la même longueur et étaient reliées par de nombreux intermédiaires.
Lorsque nous avons visité Samos en avril 2006, nous n'avons trouvé que trois plantes, celles qui sont illustrées ci-dessous. La plante aux fleurs roses était moins scolopaxoïde que les deux plantes à fleurs blanches. La longueur moyenne de leurs labelles était 13 mm et elles étaient en pleine floraison aux dates indiquées.
J'ai ajouté une photo d'un Ophrys de Lesbos qui appartient peut-être à la même entité.
